More food shopping

In the UK I never buy toast because you need to get the whole bag. And in Japan it is so convenient when you can hardly buy more than three slices packed togehter. I like that!


Kaki (or persimmon) is practically rectangular and flat, so strange. GM kaki? I didn't know kaki was Japanese. No wonder it tastes better here than back home!





Food in shops is in general over-packaged, including fruit. These are apples, it's a shame the photo doesn't show how big they are. They are at least 15cm in diameter.

Ne bos verjela, Japonci imajo tudi stirioglate lubenice. Kako jim to uspe, sam bog ve, ampak perfektno pasejo v skatle...

Tudi pri nas je zdaj čas lepih, a naravno okroglih kakijev. Se še spomnim, da jih imate pri vas vsi radi. Tudi mi jih obožujemo.
