Coin-operated showers

In the place where I live we have coin-operated showers. I have never heard of them before! You put money in and then the shower works for a certain amount of time... and in the end also the light in the bathroom turns off!!

Can you guess how much it costs and for how long can you shower? Female bathroom.

What about here? Male bathroom. Discrimination?

Noone? Some help: 100 means that you should use 100 Yen coins.

Is it that 100 yen buys you 15 minutes for women, but 10 minutes for men? It makes sense because men aren't as dirty as women :p :) Is the 200 saying that there is a 200 yen fine for blocking the plug hole with hair?

I found some coin-op showers in a California camp site, it was 25C for 5 minutes... so twice the price (100Y = $1)

It says that you should use 100 Yen coins, but it cost 200 Yen. And true, 15 min for women, 10 for men. Couldn't think of a reason! But I'm sure your explanation is not correct Ben!! :)

Women have to wash their long hair and put conditioner on, and leave it in, so they have to allow for that and not punish women for looking after themselves! Not that men can't do these things... I used to use conditioner back when I had hair. Maybe the division should be hair vs. no-hair rather than by sex?

Haha, good idea Ben! I guess women also shave their legs under the shower - this is another reason.
