Read: A dummy in Japan. This blog is about all the things I find fascinating about Japan. And "a dummy" because I find so many every-day common things fascinating.

Plastic food models
Ordering food in restaurants can be quite hard when they have no english menu available. And it happened to me that when they had one available, they didn't understand what I ordered and got wrong soup in the end! But what's really convenient is that in front of almost every restaurant they set up plastic food models. And they look really genuine!
Hmmmm... the ones I've seen so far didn't look too bad. And I can't imagine what I'd do without them. Especially at the university canteens. They ofter every day something different, and all the students first go to check plastic models on display! :)
Yes they change them every day. And they have around 20 - 30 different courses available. But also here you can notice worse quality at the university canteen.
Uau, kakšne dobre slike. Si to ti slikala? Še objavi, nikoli ne bo dovolj novic in slikic. Upam, da bomo vsak dan dobili vsaj eno novico.
ReplyDeleteAh yes the plastic food! I don't know about you but I never really found them that convincing!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are having fun and managing to find the yoghurt :)
Take care,
Paul

ReplyDeletethey should start doing that in the SCR, they wouldnt need to have them specially made because the food is already plastic ;)
